A beautiful and quaint hotel in West Berlin

It was our third visit to Berlin and thought it would be nice to stay in West Berlin instead of Mitte or further east. Plus, we were looking for a hotel with character and a different vibe than the modern hotels. Henri Hotel did not disappoint! The location was convenient (although a little further from the popular tourist attractions). We enjoyed the look and feel of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the service was friendly and non-pretentious. A few minor issues, but none didn't impact our overall enjoyment. We had a spacious room with a balcony, which we loved, but could have better storage. The bathroom is functional, but on the small side and needs a little updating. The noise-proofing is not adequate: we were woken up twice at 6 am by housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay at the Henri Hotel.

This is a lovely place to stay. 1920s style decor with lovely high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with lots of choice and their own honey. An honesty bar, coffee and tea. Our room was great. Beds super comfortable. The shower had great pressure!

We stayed at Henri hotel Berlin for 9nights. Firstly, it’s important to know the photos online are massively better than the hotel in real life, as sadly the actual hotel looks more tired and drab in comparison. We wish we had moved hotels after the first few nights only we didn’t want to further enhance the discomfort we felt from staff there. The staff have no understanding of customer service or training on how to deal with busy time periods. We were told on multiple occasions in very unfriendly tones that we had to wait or couldn’t be helped due to not enough staff available. Had this been met with any kindness or sympathy in wanting to help us enjoy our stay, it may have made a difference. The manager there, like her team is curt, impatient and unable to show any ability to recognize the customers genuine comfort. Perhaps to better learn that a guest is there to enjoy their stay/hotel, and experience, especially when someone is staying for so many nights, to make a little extra effort in ensuring their comfort is needed

Hotel Henri is a hotel in the city center of Berlin, about a 100 meters from the Kurfürstendamm. The location is although very quiet in a small street, next to some good restaurants. The hotel is a nice old building with comfortable rooms, service is very friendly and good. The breakfast is tasty, prices are reasonable. A good hotel for staying in Berlin. Recommendable !

I booked the hotel as my partner had recently stayed at the Henri Hotel in Hamburg and loved it. It's in a great location, so close to Zoo station, the Gedächtniskirche and KaDeWe. The staff were absolutely lovely and the place had a real charm. Very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and some very good wines available at reasonable prices if you fancy a drink before heading out in the evening (or on your return). I loved it and was very touched by the goody bag as I left containing nuts and a chocolate Santa. Will definitely return.
